The SMSZ Project
Desert Gold's flagship SMSZ Project overlies a 38 km section of West Africa’s prolific Senegal Mali Shear Zone which is related to 4 tier one gold mines including B2 Gold's Fekola Mine, Barrick's Gounkoto and Loulo Mines and Allied Gold's Sadiola and Yatela Mines.
At 410km2 the Company’s SMSZ Project is one of the largest gold exploration projects in Western Africa. With 20+ open gold zones discovered to date that require follow up and numerous targets yet to be tested, the SMSZ Project has the potential for the discovery of a major gold deposit(s) consistent with the region’s tier 1 gold mines.

Exploration Targets
Berola / Frikidi
Numerous northerly- and NE-trending gold-mineralized structures
Grab sampling returned the best results from the entire property with values to >100 g/t Au
Follow-up drilling returned drill intercepts to 1.07 g/t over 26 m (true width unknown) and 6.67 g/t over 4 m (true width ~3m).
Auger drilling, returned gold values to 8,650 ppb
Previous IP surveys indicate a couple of large, untested chargeability anomalies
8 RC holes to follow up on auger anomalies near the Berola zone. More holes to be planned to test auger anomalies at Frikidi and to follow up on 1.07 g/t Au over 26 m.
Auger drilling of approximately 194 holes to follow up on previous high auger values and to cover a 2 km long IP chargeability geophysical anomaly
